Ovi-ous Opportunities with Bitcoin in San Mateo Oviato leads Batch 2 of the BitcoinFi Accelerator in Silicon Valley

Having just completed the second batch of the latest Bitcoin specific accelerator in Silicon Valley, led by industry goliaths such as BoostVC, Draper Associates and Thesis, it’s clear that despite the continuous growing number of blockchains and VC-driven tokenomics – some of the most prominent investors are continuing to focus their resources on the network that started it all. With our demo-day taking place on the 20th of June, introductions are well overdue.

Atoll27 is the most recent partnership undertaken by R1, who are not only providing blockchain infrastructure, but also led the research and development surrounding passkey wallet based technologies, expanding upon the work that was first conducted as part of Project Eden.

What originally started as Ordlify and was merely focused on simplifying the process of inscribing data to the bitcoin blockchain, later evolved into Oviato, which was a fully-fledged artistic studio for creators to easily launch their collections. It was at this point that the team was accepted into the Bitcoin Frontier Fund for their mission to help onboard as many creators from the traditional web world into the land of bitcoin ordinals and inscriptions. Throughout their journey the one thing that always prevented new users from getting started on the blockchains is Web3 itself. The need to install a browser extension and write down seed phrases before being able to take part in the new decentralized economy is simply too much friction.

This brings us to the BitcoinFi Accelerator and the bigger problems we are now trying to solve, which we are looking forward to sharing with you in more detail after demo day.
